Healthcare in high-risk units — like Bone Marrow Transplant Units — demands strict technical standards. But beyond that, it requires safe environments, hygienic design, smooth operational flows, and a strong sense of dignity and trust for both patients and staff.
At Axis Medical, we were honored to undertake the full renovation of the Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at “Evangelismos” General Hospital in Athens — a project made possible through the generous donation of Aurora – Together Against Hematologic Diseases.
A Space That Matters

The new unit was carefully designed and constructed to meet the highest safety, hygiene, and operational criteria. It features:
- Patient-centered design supporting psychological comfort
- Infection-resistant materials and finishes
- Fully modernized medical and engineering systems
The project was delivered on time and with full respect to the hospital’s needs and day-to-day operations.
More Than Just a Renovation

This transformation goes beyond construction. It is a tangible expression of social responsibility and care — a space that will serve people fighting for their lives with dignity and safety. We sincerely thank Aurora for their trust and commitment to hematologic patient care.
At Axis Medical, we continue to create healthcare spaces that combine expertise, empathy, and precision. Because health is always personal.
