Axis Medical is pleased to announce the signing of a significant project contract with the 3rd Health Region of Macedonia (YPE), which took place today as part of the 88th Thessaloniki International Fair.
The contract was signed at the booth of the Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund (HRADF) by the Director of the 3rd Health Region, Mr. Dimitris Tsalikakis, and the CEO of Axis Medical, Mr. Giannis Ioannidis, in the presence of the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, the Deputy Minister of Health, Ms. Irini Agapidaki, the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Marios Themistocleous, the Secretary General of Health, Ms. Lilian Vildiridi, the CEO of HRADF, Mr. Dimitris Politis, the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Hellenic Corporation of Assets and Participations, Mr. Stefanos Theodoridis, and officials from the Strategic Contracts Unit of the Fund.
The contract covers the execution of two key projects of the 3rd Health Region of Macedonia:
- Redesign and expansion of the Intensive Care Unit at the General Hospital of Pella – Giannitsa Unit, with the addition of 5 new beds.
- Renovation of operating rooms on the 2nd floor of the General Hospital of Pella – Edessa Unit.
These projects are primarily aimed at improving infrastructure and upgrading the healthcare services provided by the hospitals in the Pella region, enhancing the quality of care for its citizens.
The signing of this contract marks a crucial step toward achieving the strategic goals of the 3rd Health Region, with Axis Medical assuming responsibility for executing the projects in accordance with the highest standards of quality and safety. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to improving healthcare conditions and promoting innovation in medical technology.
